Active Social will be joining Peak Potential for their Blue Mountains trek on Saturday 6th July.
Peak Potential are in training for the Mount Kilimanjaro trek later this year.
We have the opportunity to join this group to train, climb mountains and reach new levels of fitness.
Use this as a chance to increase your fitness levels, hear some amazing success stories of other mountain challenges, the chance to prepare yourself for other fitness events / challenges you may have coming up. All this surrounded by fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery.

We will start at the Giant Staircase and trek approximately 2hrs to Ferber Staircase. Breaking every hour for a rest. Peak Potential group will be completing 2 laps, so 4hr trek in total. You will have the option to stop after the first lap or continue with the other group.

Afterwards we'll go to a nearby venue tbc, to indulge in a warm drink in front of a cosey fireplace to reward ourselves.

Warm weather gear & wet weather gear is necessary. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots, a backpack to carry water and snacks also. This time of the year the temperature can get extremely cold (eg. 2 degrees) It is necessary you come prepared. If you are unsure, please got Mount Designs or Katmandu to inquire about appropriate gear.
